So, looking at the stats, you must have gotten the idea that having a strong hold on English language is a focal point to pass the CSS exam. But unfortunately, most of the candidates struggle in English.
I know some of you might be intimidated by this but take a chill pill cause even if you are not good at English, you can still pass CSS exam, for that matter say English essay.
And how can you achieve that?

So, I will tell you some strategies that you can follow if you are a beginner or even if you have good English language skills these strategies will definitely going to up your game.
1) Which Areas to Focus on?
The most important thing that students face is that they do not know in which direction they should go? Too much syllabus makes them confused, and they don’t get a proper idea as to where to start from.
Considering this, students randomly start preparing for CSS English, which is a bad strategy.
To smartly prepare, look at past papers and check the trend and pick up the hot topics. Then research and study around the vast dimension of those topics. Remember, most of the Essays comes around the on-going issues.
Bottom Line: Do not narrow down your research. And why so?
Because in this way you would have enough knowledge to write around any topic.
2) How to do Essay Research?
To research for your selected topics, read relevant books, magazines and articles for that matter.

Researching usually takes a lot of time, so make your study schedule keeping in view the time spent on research.

So, if you are a beginner or even if you are not, you need to start reading English newspaper daily. Read in English and write in English.
For that purpose, read DAWN, Tribune and try to follow their writing style.
Out of 6 days a week, 7th day should be devoted to English only. On that day, do your topic selection, then go about your research and lastly practice by writing at least one essay.

Therefore, make sure you get your essays evaluated and work on rectifying your mistakes. And another thing to note here is that, your essay and other subject content should be free from grammatical errors because even if you have pen down correct and well-researched information, your grammatical errors will drown you.
Having good English is not only essential to getting good scores in the essay, but it is equally vital component to pass your other subjects.
