The admission in the medical colleges of Sindh is granted on the basis of Sindh MCAT, (except for Agha Khan Medical University) which is conducted by the NTS. This article enlists all the private and government sector medical colleges in Sindh province.
Government sector colleges:
Established in the year 2003, Dow University of health sciences is a public sector medical university, located in Karachi. According to HEC, it is ranked third among all the medical universities of Pakistan. It is one of the oldest medical institutes of the province.

Sindh Medical College got the status of a university in 2012, now known as Jinnah Sindh Medical University. The university has various departments that grant both graduate and undergraduate degrees. It is situated in Karachi.

Karachi Medical and Dental College came into existence in 1991 with Abbasi Shaheed Hospital as its affiliated hospital, becoming the first Medical College of the Country to be established and run by a City Government.

Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences started as a Medical School in 1881. It is ranked eighth among all the medical institutes of Pakistan by the HEC. The university offers MBBS, BDS, Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, Pharm-D Program and Postgraduate programs.

Built exclusively for women, this institute came into existence in 1974 in Nawabshah with the name of Peoples Medical College. About 6000 lady doctors have been graduated from this college so far. Postgraduate training in this institute started in 2004

The Dow International Medical College was established in 2007. DIMC is a constituent college of Dow University of Health Sciences, offered specifically to facilitate the medical education for the children of overseas Pakistanis. DIMC is following the semester system as per the directives of PMDC.

Initially established as Chandka Medical College in Larkana, in 1973, this medical college was renamed and upgraded to university status in 2008. The university offers MBBS/BDS, Nursing, Post Graduate, Ph.D. and Pharm D programs.

Ghulam Muhammad Maher Medical college is a constituent College of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University, located in the center of Sukkur city.
Every year 100 new students are enrolled in this college under MBBS program on the basis of merit.

AKU is ranked as the top medical institute in Pakistan by the higher education commission of Pakistan. It was established in 1983 in Karachi and every year 100 new students are admitted into the university.

Baqai Medical University, situated in Karachi, was founded in 1988. This university offers courses in medicine, dentistry, health management sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, and veterinary science, and other interdisciplinary courses. It is ranked tenth among all the medical universities of Pakistan according to HEC.

Named after Sr. Dr. Zia-ud-din Ahmad, an eminent educationist and scholar of Sub-continent, Zia-ud-din University is situated in Karachi. Zia ud din College of Medical Sciences is a private medical college associated with this university and is ranked fifth among the medical institutes of Pakistan, according to HEC.

It is a private sector college situated in Hyderabad. The college offers MBBS, BDS, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Doctor of Physical Therapy and many other programs in paramedical technologies. It also conducts residency program for the postgraduate degree from College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan.

Fourteen batches of MBBS students and 10 batches of BDS students have passed since the inception of the college. Hamdard University Hospital, Valika Hospital, Namet Begum Hospital are the hospitals affiliated with this college.

It is a private sector college in Karachi that offers MBBS, BDS, and postgraduate programs. The University has an integrated spiral curriculum for MBBS, divided in 10 semesters of 16 weeks each.

This private sector medical college is located in Karachi and is reserved for women only. Sir Syed Hospital and Sir Syed Dental Hospital are affiliated with this college. The college is registered with PMDC.

Recognized by PMDC and WHO, this is a private sector college located in Mirpurkhas. It is affiliated with LUMHS, Jamshoro, Jamshoro. This is the only Medical College situated in the Rural Areas of Sindh, especially in the Thar Region.

Located in Karachi, Liaquat National Hospital & Medical College is the largest private sector tertiary care hospital serving the society for the last 56 years. The college imparts training to 100 students each year for MBBS degree.

It is a constituent institute of Bahria University and is situated in Karachi. It is recognized by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council.

It is a private sector medical college located in Karachi. Al-Tibri Medical College has its own teaching hospital. The programs offered by AL-TIBRI Medical College are approved and recognized by PM&DC. It grants admission to 100 students every year for the MBBS program.

This is a private sector medical college that is affiliated with Creek General Hospital, United Hospital, and A.O Clinic. It is affiliated with Jinnah Sindh medical university and recognized by the PMDC.

Apart from the aforementioned medical colleges/universities, the candidates having domicile of Sindh province can also apply on reserved seats in medical institutes of other provinces which are enlisted below:
It is a public sector medical college where admission is granted on the basis of merit. There are reserved seats for candidates belonging to Sindh as follows:
Sindh Rural: 09 seats
Sindh Urban: 06 seats
Candidates can also apply for the six open merit seats for which candidates from all around the country can apply.
Candidates from Sindh can also apply for the quota seats for civilians in Army Medical College after taking NUMS test.
