MDCAT PASSING PERCENTAGE FOR SESSION (2023-24) :

The Passing Criteria of MDCAT-2023 have been approved for seeking admission to Medical or Dental colleges:

MBBS: 55%

BDS: 50%

RESULT VALIDITY:

About MDCAT 2022 results:  

PMDC has clearly notified that the MDCAT 2022 results are no longer valid for admission to any public or private university.

Ambiguity of Provincial MDCAT:

The MDCAT result 2023 of one province shall be valid for the entire country and shall be valid for a period of three years from the date of its examination as per section 17 of the PM&DC Act 2022.

NUMS (MDCAT-2023):

The NUMS will be the admitting university and its MDCAT results will only be applicable for admissions to all NUMS Affiliated medical/dental colleges.

Mandatory Requirement for Registration Portal (MDCAT-2023):

Candidates are required to upload the 1st Year F. Sc (Pre-Medical) Marks Sheet/ DMC while submitting their details on the MDCAT Exam Registration portal. The clause clarifies that students do not need to worry about getting their domicile and other documents ready during the registration process. 

Registration Dates for the MDCAT 2023:

Starting date for registrations: 17th July 2023 .

Ending date for registrations: 31st July 2023

Registration Fee for the MDCAT 2023:

PMDC has set the following fee for the registration of MDCAT 2023

For exam centers in Pakistan: Rs. 6000/- 

For International Exam Centers: USD 100$

The late fee for International exam centers is set to be USD 150$

International Exam Centers for the MDCAT 2023:

To facilitate the international candidates, MDCAT-2023 will be held at two international countries/Venues i.e.,

1. Dubai (United Arab Emirates)
2. Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).

International aspirants are directed to choose one of these two options according to their convenience of visa as well as traveling.
