Scholarship For CA Students In Pakistan

Edhi CA Talent Program was launched in 2013 to open doors for high academic achievers all over Pakistan.

• Eligibility Criteria:
• Primary
• ICAP welcomes all the talented students of the six (6) disciplines comprising of Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, General Science, Humanities, ICS, and ICOM, meeting the below criteria to apply:

Applicants should be amongst the top 20 position holders in any discipline from respective intermediate boards.​

Applicants should be students of the current session only.

Applicants should be permanent residents of Pakistan/Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.

Secondary
Applicants are required to pass a qualifying “Aptitude Test”, conducted by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP).

  Terms and Conditions:The recipient of the scholarship is strictly required to maintain good academic standing to continue receiving the scholarship as given below:
  AFC: Pass one paper in each attempt and the whole stage in a maximum of three attempts
  CAF: Pass one paper in each attempt and the whole stage in a maximum of four attempts
  CFAP & MSA: Pass two papers in each attempt and full during the training

• Scholarship Highlights:

• The following financial support will be given to the selected students.

• Full Scholarship Details

• • No Registration Fee
    No Examination Fees
    No Tuition Fees (AFC and CAF only)
    Monthly Stipend (Approximately one-third of starting stipend of trainee students)
    Boarding and lodging expense (AFC and CAF only)

• Partial Scholarship Details

• Registration at Rs.1,500 as against normal fee
  Examination/Exemption fee at Rs.500 as against normal fee
   
   Aptitude Test:
  The Aptitude Test conducted by the ICAP comprises of 100 marks and contains 3 sections. The detail of each section is hereunder.

• · A.General Knowledge – 20 marks
  Key areas: Current affairs, sports, politics, abbreviations, famous places, capital, and currency of different countries
  · B.Arithmetic and Logic – 40 marks
  Key areas: Ratio and proportion, permutation and combination, simple and compound interest, percentages, age problems, fractions
  · C.English – 40 marks
  Key areas: Parts of speech, conditional sentences, modal verbs, voices, narrations

• Study Resources:
  For the preparation of the test, ICAP has issued a sample test based on which a candidate can prepare himself/herself for the test. Here are some suggestions:

• · General Knowledge

• The applicant can prepare for this section by joining relevant Facebook groups and studying relevant, up-to-date, books*.

• · Arithmetic and Logic

• The applicant can watch a YouTube channel named “Aptitude made easy” by “Freshersworld.com” to learn concepts for this section. For more practice, the applicant can opt for a relevant book*.

• · English

• This section can be prepared from anywhere. The applicant can also search for “Dear sir” on YouTube.

• How to apply?

• Applicants meeting the aforementioned criteria may apply for the scholarship from October to December by visiting ICAP official website.*
