Special CSS Competitive Examination

Federal Public Service Commission FPSC has recently issued an advanced public notice with regard to the announcement of a Special CSS Competitive Examination which is to be held only once against unfilled vacancies through CSS Competitive examination over the last many years. Moreover, time table will soon be announced by the FPSC. Following details are to be remembered:

Important Dates

Online applications for MPT for Special CSS Competitive Examination will start from 10^th to 26^th December, 2022. However, the MPT will be conducted on 31^st January, 2023. While the result of MPT will be announced on the 15^th February, 2023. In addition to that, public notice for Written CSS Special Competitive Examination will be published on 19^th February, 2023. The written CSS Special Competitive Examination will be held on 4^th May, 2023.

Provincial Quotas

The Special CSS Competitive Examination will be conducted for following provincial quotas only. These include: Only minorities are eligible from Punjab and AJK, Women and minorities can apply from KPK. However, all candidates are eligible for appearance in the exam from Sindh, Balochistan and Ex-FATA.

Rules of the Special CSS Competitive examination

As far as rules of the Special CSS Competitive examination are concerned, the upper age limit will be 32 years. Also, for Special CSS Competitive Examination one additional i.e. fourth chance would be permissible. The cut-off date for the eligibility criteria in terms of age, qualification, and domicile will be 31^st December, 2022.

Screening test MPT

A screening test MPT will be held prior to the written Special CSS Competitive examination. Fee for MPT will be Rs. 250/- (Non-refundable).
