How to calculate aggregate for NUMS (MDCAT) 2025

The declared passing criteria for NUMS 2025 are as follows, 

1. MBBS 55%
2. BDS 45%

2. As per PMDC notification, candidates are not required to take any test other than NUMS for admissions to NUMS Constituent, Affiliated, and all Military (Armed Forces) Administered Medical and Dental Colleges.

1. The final aggregate formula of NUMS MDCAT will constitute, 
2. NUMS MDCAT 50%
3. FSc/HSSC/Equivalent 40%
4. Matric/SSC/Equivalent 10%

How to calculate NUMS merit manually?

1. Step 1: Calculate the percentage of your NUMS score: 
2. For example, you scored
3. 130/150 in NUMS 2024,
4. 1050/1100 in HSSC/FSc
5. 1070/1100 in SSC/Matric
6. In percentage, these will be
7. NUMS MDCAT (130/150)*100 = 86.667%
8. HSSC/FSc (1050/1100)*100 = 95.45%
9. SSC/Matric (1070/1100)*100 = 97.72
10. Step 2: Proportionate your percentages to the Merit: 
11.    1- Proportionate NUMS MDCAT Score @ 50%
12. 86.667*(50/100) = 43.335
13.    2- Proportionate HSSC/FSc Score @ 40%
14. 95.45*(40/100) = 38.18
15.    3-  Proportionate SSC/Matric Score @ 10%
16. 97.72*(10/100) = 9.77
17. Step 3: Sum the score from Step 2: 
18. Your NUMS MDCAT 2024 Merit = 43.335+38.18+9.77 = 91.285%
